The things people ask before signing up.

How many emails can I verify at once?

A single CSV can carry well over 3,000 addresses — the practical ceiling is 50,000 rows per file, and you can upload as many files as you like. Large batches run in the background across several workers, so a big list doesn't mean a slow one.

What exactly is a credit?

One credit checks one unique email address. If the same address appears five times in your file, it costs one credit, not five — duplicates are removed before anything is charged. Rows that aren't valid email addresses at all are skipped free of charge.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits you buy stay in your account until you use them. There's no monthly minimum, no subscription, and nothing that quietly resets at the end of a period.

What do the result statuses mean?

Deliverable — the mail server confirmed the mailbox exists; safe to send.
Undeliverable — the address is malformed, the domain can't receive mail, or the server said the mailbox doesn't exist. Remove these.
Risky — a shared inbox like info@, or a domain that accepts mail for any address, so a positive result proves nothing. Send carefully.
Disposable — a temp-mail provider. Almost always worth dropping.
Unknown — the server gave an inconclusive answer, or it's a major webmail provider that can't be safely probed. Your call.

Why do some Gmail and Outlook addresses come back "Unknown"?

The big consumer providers deliberately resist bulk mailbox checking — they give deliberately ambiguous answers to unfamiliar senders, and probing them at volume gets the probing IP blocklisted. We'd rather tell you honestly that we can't confirm one than invent a confident answer. Syntax, domain, MX and disposable checks still run on every one.

Is my list stored or shared?

Your uploaded file is stored only long enough to process it, outside the public web root, and files that are never submitted are deleted automatically within 24 hours. Results stay in your account so you can re-download them. Nothing is ever sold, shared, or used to seed anyone else's list.

What happens if a job fails partway through?

You're charged for exactly the addresses that were actually checked, and the rest of the credits are returned to your balance automatically. Every movement is recorded, so your history always adds up to your balance.

Can I use this from my own application?

An API is on the way, and it will draw on the same credit balance as CSV uploads — no separate plan, no separate wallet. Your account is already set up for it.
